Service Engineer

Description

We are looking for a bright enthusiastic person who is willing to learn and will work well with the project team.

This position will involve travelling to various airports around the UK to perform annual maintenance on the weather monitoring systems. The successful candidate will also be responsible for the calibration and support services we offer to our customers.

Formal Qualifications

Engineering qualification or relevant experience.

General Qualifications

Job Description

Maintenance of meteorological systems in the UK
Identify any hardware repairs/upgrades required during visits
Issuing maintenance reports
Point of contact for customers requiring engineering support
Take responsibility for customer calibrations ensuring timescales are met
Participating in quoting process
Any other duties as advised by team leader

Experience in any of the following would be an advantage:

Instrumentation
Electronics
Sensors
Integration of software and hardware
Systems engineering
